Under-15’s defeat Larissa 9-1
The Under-15 side were clearly more than a little impatient to get their season going, and they did so in stunning style with a 9-1 win over Larissa.
The team, coached by Alexiadis and Hagan, were so eager to open their account for the season that they started the scoring before the first minute was up, with Koutsioudis finding the net from Panagiotidis‘ assist. Koutsioudis went on to score two more goals (13th minute from Adam’s assist, and in the 26th minute following Goumas’ assist), and they were 4-0 up at half time with Kastidis scoring following a pass from Goumas.
Larissa pulled a goal back to make it 4-1, but then normal service was resumed for the rest of the game. In the 43th minute, Adam picked out Goumas who made it 5-1, and then after 55 minute Goumas again found the net following an assist from Panagiotidis. In the 74th minute Mavris got in on the act to make it 7-1 (from Vasiliadis’ pass), then it was Vassiliadis’ turn to score to make it 8-1 on 78 minutes from Mavris’ assist. Finally, Koutsioudis rounded off the scoring 10 minutes from full-time with his fourth goal of the game.
