Vote for September’s 11888 MVP
Three players – from defense, midfield and attack – are in with a shout of winning another individual award. The PAOK FC Official App and 11888 ask you to cast your vote for the most valuable PAOK player for the month of September. It’s over to you to decide.
September saw PAOK contest four tough Super League matches, with the team still managing to maintain its unbeaten record and collect eight points from two wins and two draws in games against Panionios, Atromitos, Aris and AEK.
Dimitris Giannoulis, who won the award for August, is again in with a shout of taking home the MVP title for September. The left-back was again in top form in both defense and in attack, covering a lot of kilometers and generally continuing to impress all and sundry with his performances, which are slowly putting him up there with the best in the league in his position.
The second candidate is Josip Misic. The Croatian was given the opportunity in the starting XI by Abel Ferreira and he is vindicating his coach’s decision in style. Among his achievements are three assists, a superb goal against Aris at the Toumbain added time and overall a string of impressive displays. Misic is proving to be a valuable link between midfield and attack for PAOK in recent matches and is taking to his role brilliantly.
Last but not least, there’s also Karol Swiderski. The Polish striker is now the team’s top scorer having scored three goals in September. The highlight of the month was his two-goal salvo in the match against AEK at the OAKA.
