Under-17’s defeat Volos 6-0

The Under-17 side recorded their third win in succession in emphatic style on Saturday with a dominating 6-0 victory over Volos FC at Souroti.

22.09.2019

It was one-way traffic for PAOK’s youngtsers, who are coached by Papavasileiou and Taxidis, with the home side scoring six times while there was not so much as a remote goal threat from the visitors. Tsikos opened the scoring after 15 minutes from Spiridopoulo’s assist, with the latter making it 2-0 with a goal of his own 10 minutes later with a shot from outside the penalty area. Another long-range shot rocket of a shot from Koulieraki in the 38th minute made it 3-0 as PAOK went into the dressing rooms at half-time in unstoppable mood.

In the second half, there was only one team in the match. Tasiouras latched on to a brilliant assist from Baboura to slot home his team’s fourth goal after 66 minutes, before Koutentakis produced a fine piece of individual skill to find the net and make it 5-0.

Finally, Tsikos converted a free-kick in stylish fashion two minutes later to round off the scoring and put the seal on a superb 6-0 win.

PAOK lineup:

Monastirlis, Koutsidis (45’ Manolioudis), Koulierakis, Kitsakis (62’ Roumiantsev), Sinanai, Tsikos (68’ Zilos), Kountentakis, Spiridopoulos, Karakoutis (45’ Babouras), Tasiouras, Kedikoglou (54’ Koulouris).
