Despite a below-par performance and some poor finishing, PAOK Under-17’s managed to defeat Xanthi.
Playing at what is traditionally a difficult ground to go to in the second match of the season, the impressive performances of Papavasileiou and Taxidis helped the team lock up the result in the first half and claim the three points.
Tasiouras scored the only goal of the game after 38 minutes from Smyrli’s cross.
