Preseason is a tough period. Many days away from home and family, hard work in training and friendly games, adverse conditions, locked up in a hotel. Not the most pleasurable times…
It’s only natural for players and coaching staff to look for ways to break the monotony and have as much fun as possible at Horst.
On Wednesday evening at Parkhotel, PAOK players and coaching staff participated in a family event, full of fun, dancing and singing. They took the microphones and let loose.
Curfew was not so rigid, instead of alcoholic drinks they had water and isotonic beverages, but the party was wildly joyful. Some did splendidly, like the finalists Omar El Kaddouri and the duo Pedro Henrique – Rodrigo Soares, the Moroccan prevailing in the end. Some tried, but can’t carry a tune… They all enjoyed themselves immensely.
Anderson Esiti provided one of the evening’s highlights, as he joined the contestants’ list in the last minute, but earned high praise by the rather austere panel of judges. Abel Ferreira also impressed with his signing and brought the audience to its feet.
