A loan entails a bit of a risk for any player. But this risk can prove beneficial sometimes. In Lazaros Lambrou’s case, his spell at Fortuna Sittard exceeded expectations.
Lazaros Lambrou returned and signed a new contract with PAOK. He is getting ready for preseason training and already dreaming of his official debut with the shirt of the “Double-Headed Eagle”.
How did we get here though? Last summer, Lambrou was presented with a dilemma. Either remain in PAOK’s roster and wait for an opportunity, or go abroad and put his talent to the test. He chose the latter and was fully vindicated, lining up some impressive performances.
