Alexandros Gargalatzidis is a quality player, strongly built, with an eye for goal. He is tall and strong in the air, but also comfortable with the ball at his feet. Despite his young age, he has international duty with Greece U17s. He was top scorer with 15 goals at PAOK U14s. He also led the scoring charts with 15 goals for U15 champions in 2014-15 and was a regular in PAOK U17s’ triumphant run in 2015-16 with 11 goals to his name. He featured for the U19s in the following three seasons and won two Super League titles (2017-18 & 2018-19), having netted 27 goals in 42 encounters.

He has participated in training sessions of the senior side and played his maiden game for them in September 2017, during an away friendly encounter against NFC Volos. He also got to score, teed up by Dimitris Pelkas.
