PAOK wins Digital Brand of the Year award
The Future is Here. PAOK’s motto is adhered to each and every day, just as much out on the pitch with the team winning a superb domestic double, as it is off the pitch. On this occasion, it’s the club’s digital communication and visual brand identity that has shone through.
The work done by the club’s New Media department has received universal recognition at the Digital Media Awards, the largest digital event in Greece which includes and awards the country’s top Media Agencies.
But this time the main protagonist of the evening was a football club. PAOK won eight awards in different categories, and based on the overall score among all the contenders, also won the grand prize: The Digital Brand 2019 title.

Also to create pioneering and original content, and create a new order of the quality of everything in Greek football and the Media, and as well as to invest in quality. And all of this is thanks to the full support of the Savvidis family and the administration of the club,» said PAOK’s New Media Director, Panagiotis Aroniadis.

Thessaloniki, London, Porto. An international production with the support of Dugout for the unveiling of Sergio Oliveira. The vizualization of the Transfer Deadline Day culture won the gold award in the Best Video Reporting / Storytelling category.

Another distinction for paokfc.gr which it was previously awarded in 2016 as the best in Greece. This time, PAOK’s website was awarded for its homepage. The «cover» of PAOK’s official site received excellent reviews for Stonewave’s usability and design (Designers United, Dimitris Papazoglou).

A pioneering project in the area of community management that even reached the point of being used by Barcelona, Benfica, Manchester City, as well as the BBC. Josip Misic’s presentation video topped the Best Reader Interaction (Community Management / Messaging Services) category.
