PAOK Education: 1st Medical Conference
The season is over, PAOK having secured both domestic trophies. Their effort for education and best possible training doesn’t stop here though…
The medical staff of PΑΟK FC continue working during the off-season as well, in order to provide the best possible services regarding prevention and treatment of injuries. In recent years, the members and scientific staff of PAOK FC have been constantly traveling to attend top conferences and enrich their knowledge.
This time around, PAOK step up to the plate and organize the 1st International Conference Groin Pain In Football: From A-Z.
Sports pubalgia or pubic inguinal pain syndrome is one of the toughest injuries to face in modern football and often leads to lengthy absence from action, occasionally without proper rehabilitation. The medical staff of the “Double-Headed Eagle” decided to deal with this issue in the first conference organized by PAOK FC. It will be held from 13 to 15 June at Velidio Convention Centre and in the training centre of PAOK FC in Nea Mesimvria.
Key-note speakers from international centres of excellence, such as Kristof Sas, doctor of RSC Anderlecht, Zarko Vuckovic, director of Groin Pain Centre at ASPETAR Hospital in Doha, and Konrad Słynarski, president of Polish Arthroscopy Society, along with Greek specialists will analyze the issue bringing their vast experience to the table. The main topics are diagnosis, treatment and complete rehabilitation of groin injuries.
The theoretical part of the conference will be held during the first two days, with speeches from renowned specialists. The last day consists of a workshop in Nea Mesimvria.
The inscription categories are as follows:
- DAY 1 & DAY 2 | Doctors: €100
- DAY 1 & DAY 2 | General fee/Physiotherapists – professionals: €80
- DAY 1 & DAY 2 | Students: €40
- DAY 3: €150
You can complete your inscription at the central reception of Velidio Convention Centre of Thessaloniki.
