PAOK U19s seal an undefeated league
The U19 side of PAOK followed in the steps of the senior side and won the 30-match marathon of the Super League undefeated. The pupils of Pablo García and Mirosław Sznaucner thrashed Panetolikos away 4-0.
The youngsters of the “Double-Headed Eagle” put on one more football exhibition at Agrinio. They prevailed 4-0 over local Panetolikos, keeping their rivals at bay at all times.
The hosts held firm for 38 minutes, but Chatzistravos broke the deadlock with a fine finish teed up by Tsaousis. It was a smooth sail from then on.
After the interval, PAOK were thunderous and managed to score twice within a minute. In the 49th minute, Gaitanidis set up Panidis for a 2-0 lead. In the 50th, the former provided the assist to Doumtsis for PAOK’s third goal.
Scorer turned to provider and vice versa in the 71st minute. Doumtsis paved the way for Gaitanidis to make it 4-0.
PAOK finished at the top of the league with 28 victories and 2 draws. Their last domestic defeat dates back to December 2017!
The young players of the “Double-Headed Eagle” are now preparing for the renowned FIFA tournament, to be held in Switzerland from 29 May to 1 June.
