More success for PAOK youngsters

After celebrating the U15 league title, five PAOK players enjoyed further success at the ranks of Greece national team, getting third place in the demanding “Vlatko Marković” international tournament in Croatia.

Greece U15 national side won three games and suffered one defeat, on their way to 3rd place. They even prevailed over hosts Croatia in the 3rd-place match, Zisis Tsikos netting the solitary goal of the encounter.

Theodoros Eleftheriadis’s squad, including five U15 champions of PAOK, were impressive and defeated Serbia 2-0 and South Korea 2-1 in their group matches. They only lost their semi-final to Mexico (4-1), who ended up succumbing to Argentina in the final, during the penalty shoot-out.

PAOK were represented by Nikos Botis, Lefteris Tasiouras, Ζisis Tsikos, Lampros Smyrlis and Giorgos Koutsias.
