U15s come back to qualify for final

Attractive football, fair play, suspense, beautiful goals, comeback and intense emotions. PAOK defeated Olympiakos 2-1 in the Final Four semi-final of Lamia and will face Aris in the final.

04.04.2019

PAOK did need a few minutes to regroup after conceding as early as the 3rd minute to Olympiakos. Once they found their pace though, their passing game was fluent and they were able to create opportunities. There was non-stop action at both ends, as the kids really excelled in their favourite sport.

The “Double-Headed Eagle” equalized in the 41st minute, as Botis set up Koutsias who coolly dispatched the ball past Olympiakos goalkeeper.

PAOK completed their comeback in the 64th minute, Tsikos taking the free kick and Zilos firing from close range to make it 2-1. Koutsidis was denied by the woodwork in the 79th minute.

The final will be held on Sunday 7 April at 15:00 and will be a Thessaloniki affair, as PAOK face Aris who eliminated Panathinaikos after a penalty shoot-out.
