Following consultation with the club and the medical staff, the player will travel to Porto. Next week, Tuesday or Wednesday, he will undergo surgery to be performed by orthopedic doctor José Carlos Noronha.

Maurício will remain in Portugal for the first stage of his recovery. He will spend 2-3 weeks in Lisbon, monitored by the rehabilitation team of Portugal national team.

Then the Brazilian will return to Greece for the second stage. It will be decided upon consultation between PAOK’s medical team and Dr. Noronha.
