Léo Jabá voted Player of the Week
Léo Jabá was voted Player of the Week in the poll held on uefa.com for matchday 2 of the UEFA Europa League group stage.
Răzvan Lucescu picked Jabá for his starting line-up and the young Brazilian winger proved him right. He put on his best performance so far at PAOK and absolutely stole the show in the “Double-Headed Eagle’s” triumph over BATE Borisov in Borisov Arena.
Léo Jabá scored two goals with his two shots on target, created two more for Dimitris Pelkas and Aleksandar Prijović, had a 88,6% pass accuracy (39 out of 44) and recovered two balls for his team.
In the poll held on uefa.com for Player of the Week in the UEFA Europa League, he faced tough competition but managed to prevail over Patrick Cutrone, who turned the match around for AC Milan against Olympiakos when he came on the pitch to score twice, Alfredo Morelos who also scored a brace in Rangers FC’s comeback against SK Rapid Wien, and Islam Slimani, whose two goals helped Fenerbahçe SK defeat FC Spartak Trnava.
