The U17 side of the “Double-Headed Eagle” recorded a second consecutive draw. They were held 1-1 by Panetolikos in Souroti ground, despite dominating proceedings and having three shots on woodwork.
PAOK defenders fluffed their lines in the 35th minute and Panetolikos took the lead. The “Double-Headed Eagle” equalized in the 65th minute with a close-range shot of Panagiotou, on an assist by Sapountzis. PAOK then wasted a host of opportunities, including being denied three times by woodwork.
