Lessons in volunteering for U20s and U17s
PAOK Academy aims to mould Greek footballers, but also insists on the educational character of the task, in order to help raise strong personalities and not just athletes. The players of the “Double-Headed Eagle’s” U20 and U17 sides learned an important life lesson: that it’s our responsibility to keep the environment clean.
The young footballers participated in the beach clean-up in Alykes, at Epanomi Thessaloniki, participating in the initiative led by PAOK Action and the environmental organization iSea.
The athletes were informed by members of iSea about various issues regarding environment protection and then got to work. Afterwards, they enjoyed the outcome of their labor, by relaxing in the revamped scenery.
