PAOK U15s in France, U11s in Germany

Two PAOK sides travel to Europe for important tournament. The U15s are in Lyon for the European Challenge 2018 and the U11s in Düsseldorf for Pfingst Cup.

U15s in Lyon

The U15 side of PAOK participate in their third tournament for the season. From 18 to 21 May they are in Lyon for the European Challenge 2018. Top French clubs are invited to participate in the tournament, along with Olympique Lyonnais, Juventus FC, Valencia CF, Real Sociedad, Feyenoord and RSC Anderlecht.

PAOK’s group includes Juventus FC, Toulouse FC and ÉF Bastia.

Last October, PAOK U15s won the IFK Cup in Göteborg. A few weeks ago, they finished 5th in teh International Cup in Antalya.

PAOK U15 squad consists of: Chrysostomos Zadikopoulos, Nikolaos Botis, Grigorios Chnaris, Konstantinos Theodoridis, Ioannis Karakoutis, Athanasios Stojnovic, Ioannis Konstantelias, Ioannis Taitzoglou, Vasilios Kitsakis, Efstathios Kizylis, Konstantinos Tsagalidis, Titos Koutentakis, Stefanos Manesidis, Dimitrios Tsiatris, Konstantinos Papaioannou, Konstantinos Koulierakis.

Players are accompanied by coaches Vasilis Mittas, Giannis Ampatzidis, goalkeeping coach Michalis Psomiadis, the technical director of PAOK Academy Dani Alsina and physiotherapist Michalis Kostidis.

PAOK U11s off to Düsseldorf

 

PAOK U11s kick off their academy’s participation in various tournaments in Germany. They are in Düsseldorf for the Pfingst Cup (18-21 May). This tournament boasts the participation of 230 teams from around the world. Among them, the academies of powerhouses like Manchester City FC, Juventus FC, Borussia Dortmund, Deportivo de La Coruña, Olympique de Marseille, FC Zenit Saint Petersburg and Galatasaray SK.

PAOK will face the following teams in their group: KFC Uerdingen 05, DJK Burbach, Brøndby IF and Achilles’12.

Last March, the U11 side of the “Double-Headed Eagle” took second place in the Iber Cup tournament, held in Lisbon.

PAOK U11 squad consists of: Michalis Pourliotopoulos, Bedri Dunga, Georgios Kosidis, Georgios Panagiotidis, Petros Karakostas, Athanasios Panos, Mattheos-Aristidis Albanis, Ioannis Sarris, Nikolaos Theofilou, Vasilios Eleftheriadis, Angelos Tsikas, Paschalis Andreadis, Anestis Mythou, Fotios Vasilis.

Players are accompanied by coaches Spyros Koulouris and Stelios Bikas.
