Pelkas’s September

The kid has grown up. The talented attacking midfielder is now one of the captains, a vital cog of the team and has over 100 matches for the “Double-Headed Eagle”.
In September, Dimitris Pelkas experienced a lot. On the 29th, he penned the extension of his contract that will keep him in Toumba Stadium until 2021. He stood out in the encounters against PAS Giannina, Panetolikos, Levadiakos and AEL Larissa. He scored a beauty against the Viotia outfit and contributed significantly to PAOK’s fine run in Super League Souroti and Greek Cup. In the game against AEL in Larissa, he reached the 100-match milestone with the black-and-white shirt.

He faced stiff competition for this award by two formidable opponents. Léo Matos was outstanding on all lines and remained second in the vote, while Aleksandar Prijović completed the podium, having netted crucial goals and becoming PAOK’s top scorer so far.
