PAOK Action – We stand by Pantelis Kyriakidis
The first of PAOK Action annual initiatives for the support of the unlucky youngster of our academy and his family is offering them part of gate income from the league opening encounter against SKODA Xanthi.
In the last four years, PAOK FC and PAOK Action have helped more than 70 children, giving them a little but significant assistance in their everyday fight for their life. PAOK Action will continue their work during season 2017-18. Part of the club’s income will be donated to families of children with health issues.
The first of many initiatives by PAOK Action this season takes place in the encounter against AOK Kerkyra. Every season, the opening Super League match of Toumba is dedicated to providing help for one of our own children. Six years have gone by since 24 May 2009. On that night, PAOK academy player Pantelis Kyriakidis lost his father in a car accident when returning with him from a football tournament. Little Pantelis had participated in that tournament for PAOK. Ever since he has been confined to bed in a coma, fighting for his life.
Although the match is held behind closed doors, meaning no gate income, PAOK FC will support financially the Kyriakidis family and cover the expenses for the full medical and medicinal treatment of little Pantelis.
We all stand by him and his family!
