He refereed in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers for the first time in 2014-15, handling the game between FC Dinamo Tbilisi and FC Aktobe. He is mostly appointed in UEFA Europa League group stage games and in national team qualifying matches.
It’s his first European match this season, while he has already officiated five encounters in the Polish league.
The 34-year-old will be accompanied by Michal Obukowicz and Tomasz Listkiewicz, the assistant referees, with Tomasz Kwiatkowski acting as fourth official. Laurent Duhamel is the UEFA Referee Observer for the match.
