PAOK’s friendly encounters in the Netherlands
The “Double-Headed Eagle” will play four friendly games during their main preseason stage at Horst.
PAOK travel to the Netherlands on 2 July and, two days later, they will go through their first… test, against AFC Tubize, who feature in Belgium’s Eerste Klasse B.
On 9 July, the difficulty level rises considerably, as the “Double-Headed Eagle” will measure themselves against Ukrainian powerhouse FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
Three days later, on 12 July, PAOK will face VVV-Venlo who just got promoted to Eredivisie after a four-year absence.
The last friendly match of Aleksandar Stanojević’s troops in the Netherlands is a clash against AFC Ajax on 15 July in Amsterdam. The team will spend the night there and return to Thessaloniki on 16 July. The encounter against Ajax will be held behind closed doors.
