PAOK FC reply to Olympiacos FC
Read on paokfc.gr the reply of PAOK FC to Olympiacos FC.
Instead of searching for traces of PAOK FC behind the different formal complaints, they’d better work on their defensive strategy at Olympiacos FC. Their experienced legal advisors must have seen by now that their attempt to discredit witnesses didn’t bear fruit, as the verdict of guilty for the incidents in the Olympiacos-AEK Athens encounter suggests, despite the first-instance sentence being ‘soft’.
If they are wondering why witnesses didn’t come forward at once, they should consider their attempts to keep mouths shut. In any case, we can only gather that they are also eager for disciplinary procedures to move forward as fast as possible, in order to… uncover conspiracies. Closed-circuit cameras could obviously have provided answers regarding the… fabricated complaints, unless there was insufficient storage availability in their hard disks… Mr Simitzoglou is the competent judge to investigate this case and solve it.
P.S.: We don’t want to believe pieces of info suggesting that Mr. Marinakis was present during the incidents and personally gave the order to shut all doors so that nothing would be recorded.
P.S.2: Unfortunately for them, the omertà they tried so hard to implement has been broken. It might have taken 20 years, but they would better come to terms with it.
