U17s remain undefeated in Hungary
PAOK U17s prevailed 2-0 over FC Dinamo Minsk and, without having lost any of their encounters, finished 5th among 16 teams participating in the Future Talents Cup in Budapest.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” completed their participation in the tournament (including last October’s qualifying stage) with 5 victories, one draw, 14 goals scored and just three conceded.
PAOK took the lead over FC Dinamo Minsk after just five minutes of play with a header by Vrakas and finished off the encounter in the 55th minute, with a direct free-kick by Chatzis.
PAOK return to Thessaloniki on Friday morning and will travel to Veria on Sunday for their Super League U17 encounter against the local outfit.
The U17 squad that represented PAOK in Budapest consisted of: Christos Talichmanidis, Christos Giannakidis, Lefteris Lyratzis, Dimitris Voutsas, Christos Voutsas, Giannis Michailidis, Apostolos Diamantis, Giorgos Georgiadis, Serafim Maniotis, Nikolas Chatzis, Vangelis Kyrtsos, Giorgos Vrakas, Antonis Gaitanidis, Giorgos Doumtsis, Kimon Koreas, Thodoros Pournaras, Nektarios Aziz, Angelos Moutzouris, Achilleas Salamouras, Konstantinos Boumpas, Petros Kaloutsikidis, Spyros Atmatzidis.
The players were escorted by coaches Vasilis Mittas, Petros Tsiapakidis, Anestis Aslanidis, physiotherapist Κostas Michailidis and caretaker Stratos Arizanis.
