Shoot-out loss for the U17s
In the final stage of the Future Talents Cup held in Budapest, PAOK U17s succumbed to FC Karpaty Lviv in the penalty shoot-out.
PAOK were better throughout the encounter but couldn’t break the deadlock during regulation time, nor could their rivals who prevailed 5-4 in the penalty shoot-out. The “Double-Headed Eagle” will now compete for places 5-8.
The U17 squad of PAOK consists of: Christos Talichmanidis, Christos Giannakidis, Lefteris Lyratzis, Dimitris Voutsas, Christos Voutsas, Giannis Michailidis, Apostolos Diamantis, Giorgos Georgiadis, Serafim Maniotis, Nikolas Chatzis, Vangelis Kyrtsos, Giorgos Vrakas, Antonis Gaitanidis, Giorgos Doumtsis, Kimon Koreas, Thodoros Pournaras, Nektarios Aziz, Angelos Moutzouris, Achilleas Salamouras, Konstantinos Boumpas, Petros Kaloutsikidis, Spyros Atmatzidis.
The players are escorted by coaches Vasilis Mittas, Petros Tsiapakidis, Anestis Aslanidis, physiotherapist Κostas Michailidis and caretaker Stratos Arizanis.
