Biseswar, the most valuable
Diego Biseswar prevailed comfortably in the poll for 11888 MVP of January, organized by paokfc.gr and PAOK FC Official App.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” was outstanding in January, recording six victories and suffering just one defeat, at the hands of PAS Giannina, despite having 17 attempts on goal! They also advanced to the Greek Cup quarter-finals, while recovering some of the lost ground in the Super League.
Diego Biseswar was a major factor in PAOK’s attacking improvement. The Dutch attacking midfield has settled well in his new club, his physical condition is getting better as the season progresses and Vladan Ivić is trusting him with more time and more responsibilities on the pitch. Biseswar had proved his coach right with his performances. He has become a vital cog of PAOK’s attack, as provider or scorer. He is the leading assist-provider of the “Double-Headed Eagle” with 8.
In the poll for 11888 MVP of January, held by paokfc.gr and PAOK FC Official App, he faced fierce competition, but he got 45,88% and won the award. José Ángel Crespo finished in second place for a second consecutive month. The Spaniard is having an excellent season, providing security and quality to PAOK’s backline.
Marin Leovac was third in the poll. He is also in form lately, starring both in defence and attack. In January, the Croatian full-back scored one goal, provided two assists and stood out in PAOK’s fine displays.
