U17s triumphant in Giannina as well
Despite being denied three times by the woodwork, PAOK U17s won away 1-0 over PAS Giannina with a mature and commanding performance and continue leading the standings of Group B with 32 points.
PAOK put on an excellent display and weren’t threatened at any stage of the game. On the contrary, they started very strongly but their efforts landed three times on PAS Giannina’s posts (Doumtsis 5’, Maniotis 35’ and Gaitanidis 74’). They got their deserved goal however in the 65th minute through Gargalatzidis, who controlled a high cross by Voutsas impeccably and fired the winner.
