PAOK Action – Little Giorgos’s wishes

PAOK FC always help children in need through PAOK Action. The encounter against Levadiakos was dedicated to little Giorgos, who came to Toumba Stadium on Wednesday and met his favourite players.

19.01.2017

At the age of 3, our little friend suffered neoplastic disease that affected his motion and speech. He doesn’t give up though and is struggling on a daily basis, with physiotherapy, speech- and motion therapy. The most important aspect in his effort however is psychological support.

PAOK are there to help him acquire a “bodyguard” dog, a trained four-legged companion who will wear a special mobility support harness to help Giorgos in his effort to walk safely. The dog will also keep him company.

Giving Giorgos the opportunity to be near his favourite players is also a huge source of psychological support. The 6-year old came to Toumba on Wednesday, watched part of the training session despite the falling rain and was photographed alongside his icons.

Part of the gate income from Thursday’s match against Levadiakos is destined for Giorgos’s family. Because we can all make the world a better place.
