U15s thrash Veria 6-1
Although they fell behind in the 9th minute, the “Double-Headed Eagle” youngsters reacted impressively and took their foot off the throttle only after netting six goals for their fifth consecutive victory in the Super League.
PAOK U15s, coached by Angelos Zazopoulos and Giannis Ampatzidis, prevailed 6-1 in Veria and continue leading the standings with 15 points.
In the 11th minute they equalized through Sapountzis, who was teed up by Altintzis. Tsopouroglou tapped the ball in to give PAOK the lead in the 25th minute and three minutes later Saregos made it 3-1, following Grosdis’s second consecutive assist. Aventisian netted his team’s fourth goal, by converting the spot kick earned by Saregos in the 35th minute.
After the interval, PAOK continued dominating procedures and scored two more goals. Tselios took the spot kick awarded to Grigoriadis in the 55th minute, while Gortegianni sealed the 6-1 victory with a fine long-range shot.
