PΑΟΚ on UEL TV Show
UEFA TV came to Thessaloniki -“it’s the cultural hub of Greece and nowhere is this truer than in PAOK’s Toumba Stadium”- and prepared a beautiful feature on PAOK with Vladan Ivić and Stefanos Athanasiadis as guest stars.
PAOK’s head coach and their skipper and top scorer in European cups spoke to UEL TV Show in this feature that will be aired before UEFA Europa League matchday 5 in all countries participating in this season’s competition.
UEFA mentioned especially the unique culture of Toumba, with Klaus describing how it feels to be a ball boy and go on to become captain of PAOK. Vladan Ivić said that “as long there is still hope, we must still keep fighting”. An opinion shared by the producers of the UEL TV Show who stress the following: “The odds maybe stacked against the Greek side, but this is a team that has claimed important away points at Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham and indeed Fiorentina in recent seasons”.
