U17s lost in Xanthi
Innumerable chances to score, a missed spot kick, two shots on woodwork, four one-on-one opportunities… Despite being infinitely better than their rivals, PAOK U17s lost in Xanthi to the local team, conceding in the only chance their opponents created.
Sadly, PAOK return to Thessaloniki from Xanthi with Marios Tsaousis injured, as he broke his metatarsal bone. The young player sustained the injury in the 18th minute of the encounter and got a cast immediately.
It was the first match of the 2nd round for PAOK, who remained at 14 points (8 matches), trailing behind Veria, PAS Giannina and Xanthi, who have 16 points.
