PAOK family say “No to racism”
PAOK Family has been created to bring families to the stadium and improve the level of the younger generation of fans. In the Greek Cup encounter against AEL Larissa, they conveyed a message against any type of racism.
PAOK FC had the pleasure of hosting seven refugee children with their parents. The organizers of the family gate of Toumba Stadium held a series of events aiming to fight social exclusion.
Greeks and Syrians, young and older, were photographed together holding a banner that read «Football Unites» and «We are all refugees» and participated in the events.
Then they all watched a small theatrical play entitled «Focus on what matters – Equal as humans». White wakes up next to Black and starts discovering how different they are not only in how they look, but also in their built-up, their facial characteristics, the way they see things, even in how they dress. While she is spending her time trying to pinpoint their differences, she ends up at a dead-end, because she fails to focus on the most important aspect of her meeting with this stranger: that, despite their differences, they are both humans and, as such, they are both equal.
