By this present announcement, I would like to state my intention to assume the presidency of PAOK FC after the upcoming General Assembly.

My decision was taken after considerable deliberation and it reflects a powerful symbolism. I want to be the President who will lead PAOK FC to a new, reborn, cleansed and healthy football environment in Greece, following elections at the Greek Football Federation.

I want to be the one assuming responsibility for the resurrection of our team and of Greek football and acting as an umbrella for my collaborators in PAOK’s administration and for those who advocate cleansing in Greek football .

Moreover it is obvious that, following four-and-a-half years of activity in Greece (that started with the acquisition, financial cleansing and development of PAOK FC), my business range in my historic motherland has expanded.

My decision has however substantial content as well. We are entering a new era, with new challenges and new friends. My even stronger presence at PAOK FC will secure that I will be the one protecting the club from any attempt against it.

Because PAOK FC are not just one of my companies. My participation here is of strong sentimental value, signaling vision and pride.

I hope that even our critics will acknowledge arguing with a person who has a strong emotional attachment to PAOK and that they will state their case in a constructive way, considering we are potential partners.

I hope that my decision meets the consent of PAOK family and will bring us together.
