The House of PAOK Academy
The House of PAOK Academy is now hosting 55 young players of the “Double-Headed Eagle” and is bursting with life and adolescent dreams about a career in football.
The manager of the House Grigoris Karavelis is looking after 10 children more, with his main concern being the younger ones who have chosen to live away from their families at the age of 12.
Players born from 1998 (U20) to 2004 (U13) are living at the House of PAOK. Among them there are six players of the U13 team and seven U14s. Most of them are either newly signed, or players who just decided to leave their home and join the House of PAOK Academy.
Football is the main priority of course, but it goes without saying that the children’s education and normal school life is of the utmost importance. That is why PAOK have seven teachers watching over the children’s studies. Twelve players attend the Aristotle College High School, 19 attend the 8th High School, 17 go to the 8th Lyceum and six are already graduates. The children have the opportunity to prepare thoroughly for school, despite their heavy schedule of daily trainings.
The diminutive players born in 2004 and living away from their families are Lambros Smyrlis, Marios Sinanaj, Zisis Tsikos, Giorgos Lazariotis, Giorgos Koutsias and Viktor Rumiantsev as well as those born in 2003: Giannis Manolioudis, Grigoris Chniaris, Thanasis Stojnovic, Nikos Bournelis, Stefanos Ruci, Vasilis Kitsakis and Fotis Pseftis.
The following players are also new in the house: Christos Papadopoulos (U20), Artem Kozak (U20), Giannis Michailidis (U17), Vasilis Toulikas (U17), Apostolos Diamantis (U17), Charalambos Topal (U17), Nektarios Aziz (U17), Christos Stojnovic (U17), Giannis Saregos (U15), Dimosthenis Makris (U15), Efthymis Theodoridis (U15), Thodoros Pyrtsios (U15).
