PAOK in mourning
PAOK mourn the loss of Vassilis Sergiannidis, who passed away of a heart attack at the age of 79.
Vassilis Sergiannidis was one of PAOK FC major administrators and as General Secretary of the club he helped carve out philosophy of the “Double-Headed Eagle” in the “golden” ‘70s.
Even when he was no longer at the club, Sergiannidis was an advocate for PAOK and recently helped them in the creation and shaping up of the Nea Mesimvria Sports Centre.
Ivan Savvidis and the Board of Directors of PAOK FC express their heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday 6 July at 12:00 in Kilkis.
