It was a must-win match. PAOK produced attractive football against Panetolikos, especially in the first half when the pitch was still playable, and recorded an emphatic victory. Stefanos Athanasiadis stole the show with Μiguel Vítor providing the assists.

They combined impeccably for the opener, but their association for the second goal was exquisite. The Portuguese centre back found the Greek striker with a 40-metre cross at the back of Panetolikos’s defence. The latter controlled the ball with his chest and turned to volley an unstoppable shot that left the rival goalkeeper with no room for reaction.

Klaus’s goal prevailed in the Regency Best Goal of March poll, landing 46,93% of the vote and earned the PAOK captain a second accolade this month, after his award as 11888 MVP of the month.

Róbert Mak got second place with his amazing strike against Olympiacos in the Greek Cup semi-final, while Giannis Mystakidis’s effort against AEL Kalloni for the Super League was third.
