Anniversary logo wins EVGE award
Bringing together PAOK’s tradition and their contemporary dynamics, their past and their future, proved a success and was acknowledged as the Best Logo at the Greek Graphic Design and Illustration Awards.
The 90th anniversary logo prevailed in their category at the Greek Graphic Design and Illustration Awards (EVGE). It is a special acknowledgement both for PAOK FC and Beetroot Design Studio who undertook the project.
“The logo treaded lightly between modernization and history, keeping away from abrupt changes that would prove upsetting and wrong”, Giannis Charalampopoulos told us. The Creative Director of Beetroot Design Studio added: “We opted for a mild update of the logo, introducing tradition and history to the present”.
The event of EVGE and the numerous awards PAOK won is the praise bestowed by the world of design on the club for their efforts. I am confident that a new era is dawning for football and clubs. The change is evident.

PAOK’s 90th anniversary logo consists of a virtual shield, like the one on the club emblem that symbolizes PAOK’s passion from the first day of their foundation until today. That explains the inscription “90 years of passion”.
