This season sure didn’t start well for me. I had a foot injury during preseason training and suffered that strain. But now I am ready to help. Our morale changed in a few days«.

Ivić hasn’t changed much. He will pass on his philosophy eventually. We were teammates for many years. He is an excellent person and helped me a lot in my career. He has gained lots of experience in the U20s and I believe he will help us. He knows the team and went through coaching changes during his playing days. With that knowledge, he can help us evolve«.

We suffered many injuries this season and never had a full roster. This is not an excuse. New players were under pressure and we didn’t do well. Up next there is a tough match against AEL Kalloni and we will try to improve our rankings ahead of the play-offs in order to get top spot. This team has a lot to give, believe me. We have many good players and, without injuries from now on, we will bring out our good game. We have many talented players and we will prove that«.

Every player wants to be called to their national team of course – so do I. I want to be there and help our team return to victories. I want to play well and get a call in the national team«.

Our aim is to gain top spot in the play-offs. Afterwards, I believe that the best possible decisions will be taken in regards with next season’s team. Hopefully we will be healthy and everything will go well«.
