Cimirot prevails
Gojko Cimirot’s astonishing goal and his overall performance against Panathinaikos deservedly earned him both awards in the polls of Nova, Super League and PSAT for Best Goal and MVP of the matchday.
The young player commanded the midfield with his incessant running, passion, impeccable positioning and passing, contributing both in defence and attack. Along with Charis Charisis they proved they have an excellent future ahead of them. The young Bosnian also netted his first goal. It was an incredible volley that boosted the “Double-Headed Eagle’s” comeback in Leoforos.
Gojko Cimirot won both polls organized by Super League, Nova and PSAP for the matchday MVP and the Best Goal.
He got 32,57% of the vote for MVP, leaving Alejandro Domínguez of Olympiacos in second place. The Argentinian midfielder was his side’s best in their 4-0 victory over Atromitos. Cimirot also prevailed in the Best Goal poll with 41,23% after a close competition with Tasos Bakasetas’s exquisite strike for Panionios in their encounter against Veria.
