«It is with sincere sadness that I am announcing today my decision that for personal reasons I am stepping down from the position of President and CEO of PAOK. Certainly as President I take responsibility for the position and performance of the Club and I hope that in some respects my decision will help steer the Club onto the right path. 

I have seen first-hand the passion of the supporters of PAOK and I bear witness to the special qualities of this historical Club. The strength of PAOK is truly its fans and with these supporters pushing the Club forward stability and success will come.

Finally I would like to thank Mr Savvidis for giving me the opportunity and honour to be at the helm of PAOK FC and I wish him and his family success in the future«.
