«That remains to be seen. My daily concern is to improve the team. That will depend as well on the available players. We face injury problems especially in defence and Tzavellas is sidelined through suspension. We need to focus on the injuries issue, as we will be playing every three days and everybody will get a chance to play. I see my players conscious of our situation and determined to turn it around«.

On the injury spree:

«I cannot say much about it. Injuries are part of football. Kace and Costa suffered bone breaks. That cannot be prevented. Charisis sustained an injury during his Greece U21 duty. There are some muscular problems, but not out of the ordinary«.

On whether PAOK’s defence is his main problema right now and what solutions does he have in mind:

«We have had problems in our defence, but we will see. We have been working in recent trainings to remedy that and I believe we will achieve it on Sunday«.

«We are preparing in exactly the same way for every match, no matter if we face Dortmund or Panetolikos. We are trying to do our best and focus on our team. We know all aspects of Panetolikos’s game, positive and negative, but we concentrate on us.
