PAOK U17s thrash Xanthi 4-0 [photos]
Playing free-flowing, attractive football, PAOK U17 scored twice in each half and prevailed 4-0 over second-placed Xanthi at Nei Epivates. The pupils of Angelos Zazopoulos and Pablo García were not threatened by their rivals and now sit at the top of the standings with 12 points out of five encounters. Xanthi trail by five points.
Yfantidis netted the opener after 32 minutes, teed up by Chatzidimpas. Eleven minutes later, Yfantidis completed his brace on an assist by Chatzistravos.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” were equally dominant after the interval. Possession game, fine passing and many wasted chances before they wrapped up proceedings with two more goals.
In the 74th minute, Chatzistravos extended the scoreline with a fine individual effort and, seven minutes later, he sealed the 4-0 victory with an equally impressive goal.
