Spanish referee appointed at Azerbaijan
Spanish referee Javier Estrada will take charge of PAOK´s match against Qäbälä FC in Baku, corresponding to the UEFA Europa League group stage matchday 1.
Born on 27 January 1976, Javier Estrada made his debut in the Primera División in 2009. He earned his FIFA badge in 2011 and started officiating UEFA Europa League encounters in 2013. He was also assigned the final of the 2013/14 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. Last season he came to Greece to handle the match between Asteras Tripolis and Tottenham Hotspur.
He will be accompanied by Miguel Martínez and Teodoro Sobrino, the assistant referees, with Diego Barbero Sevilla acting as fourth official. Alejandro Hernandez and Santiago Jaime complete the team as additional assistant referees.
Vladimir Antonov from Moldova will be the UEFA Referee Observer, while Miroslaw Ryszka from Poland is the UEFA Delegate for this encounter.
