«Full roster, win in Veria»
On the occasion of the away encounter against Veria, Igor Tudor spoke on Novasports TV and shared his thoughts on the match and the signing of Dimitar Berbatov.
Here is what the Croatian coach said.
On Berbatov’s signing:
«Of course our plans change with such a signing, for the better. We are very happy to have Dimitar among us. It was a transfer window of many ups and downs, players coming and going. We need to speed the newcomers’ adjustment to the team so that they can help us. That will take time. Berbatov also needs time to acquire the desired level of fitness and respond to the team’s philosophy, but that is our work and we are happy to have a full roster«.
On the upcoming encounter in Veria:
«We have analysed our rivals well, we have watched both their league games. We know their characteristics and style of play. As I’ve said before, football is a weird game that doesn’t always compensate the best team on the pitch. But we are determined to win in Veria«.
