The pupils of Apostolos Papavasiliou and Dimitris Taxidis lost to FC Lokomotiv Moskva in the penalty shoot-out and return from Moscow disappointed. But they will soon forget the disappointment and hold on to the whole experience.

PAOK reached the final undefeated, having just one draw, and were held to 1-1 by FC Lokomotiv Moskva. They lost 4-3 in the penalty shoot-out. Apart from their impressive displays in the tournament, the “Double-Headed Eagle” boast having “Lokoball”s” MVP in their ranks, Lazariotis, while Koutsias made it to the Best IX of the event.

On matchday 1, the results were as follows:

PΑΟΚ – Aist 5-0 and PΑΟΚ – Ekspress 1-0.

PAOK then played a 2-2 draw with FC Anzhi Makhachkala and qualified for the semi-finals, where they prevailed 1-0 over Tumen. The youngsters of the “Double-Headed Eagle” won the Invitational Cup of Stockholm in 2014-15 and were third among 150 teams in the Led Lenser Pfingst Cup in Germany.

PAOK’s expedition to Moscow consisted of: Dimitris Monastirlis, Nikos Botis, Giorgos Lazariotis, Marios Sinanaj, Zafiriadis, Angelos Zilos, Lefteris Tasiouras, Zisis Tsikos, Viktor Rumiantsev, , Michalis Panagidis, Anastasios Symeonidis, Giorgos Koutsias, Alexandros Kedikoglou.
