Pelkas extends contract until 2018
PAOK FC announced the extension of Dimitris Pelkas’ contract, who will remain at Toumba until 30 June 2018.
Born on 26 October 1993 at Giannitsa, Dimitris Pelkas has been at PAOK since the age of 14, going through all youth levels of the “Double-Headed Eagle’s” academy.
He has been with the senior side as a professional since 2012. He made his PAOK debut in Israel, in the away encounter against Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv FC (0-2) on 2 August 2012. A week later, in the second leg of the tie (4-2), he scored his maiden official goal with the black-and-white shirt.
In 2013-14 he had a good season on loan at Apollon Kalamaria (17 matches – 7 goals). Last season he was shipped to Vitória de Setúbal and scored twice in 24 appearances in the Portuguese top-flight league.
He returned to PAOK and spent preseason with the senior squad, getting the opportunity to prove his worth and earn the extension of his contract.
