On the pitch of Toumba Stadium
PAOK held their Monday training session at Toumba, focusing on tactics for their Thursday game.
After their warm-up routine with technical drills and passing exercises, PAOK players engaged in full-pitch games with several alternations to the rules, focusing on attacking automatisms and defensive behaviour.
Igor Tudor has been insisting this week on the errors his players did in defence and attack against NK Lokomotiva last Thursday. Some of the players who were absent from the season’s first official match have now joined training sessions. Dimitris Konstantinidis, Eyal Golasa, Răzvan Raț and Christian Noboa are participating normally in the team’s seession and look fit enough to compete for a place in the starting line-up against the Croatians.
Panagiotis Glykos participates in the drills that allow him to train without hurting his back. As for Stefanos Athanasiadis, he is training on a stationary bike. He tried to put on plimsolls on Monday and he didn’t complain of pains.
