Ergys Kace is PAOK MVP of 2014-15

In a path full of obstacles, hard effort is the only alternative. One has to make their own trajectory and follow their dreams just like Ergys Kace has been doing –the player who won the PAOK MVP accolade for 2014-15.

Exactly ten years ago, this kid joined PAOK academy in search of a better and successful future. He was grown into a very promising and constantly improving player.
After his debut in 2010-11, his loan to Anagennisi Epanomi in 2011-12 and his return in 2012-13, he established himself in 2013-14 and now closes the 2014-15 season having earned the MVP award through your vote in the poll organised by paokfc.gr.

Getting 26,28% of the vote, he earned the MVP “Platon Foropoulos” trophy. In a full season, Kace recorded 39 appearances and spent 3.461 minutes on the pitch. He scored a career-high total of 4 goals in 34 goal attempts, he provided two assists, had two shots on woodwork, completed 245 passes, 69 steals, suffered 59 fouls and committed 71.
Stefanos Athanasiadis got 13,21%. The skipper of PAOK was on fire in the first half of the season and managed to complete yet another season as the team’s top scorer with 18 goals in all competitions.

Facundo Pereyra was PAOK’s top scorer in the Super League, second in the scoring charts for all competitions and third in the MVP vote with 12,44%. In his first season in Europe, the Argentinian proved having the quality to help PAOK in attack featuring as central forward, second striker or winger.

In this troubling season, two Greek players complete PAOK’s top five. Dimitris Salpingidis (12,15%) has always substance in his game but didn’t score much, while Alexandros Tziolis (11,97%) was low-key yet valuable.
