Smiles and talent displayed at Toumba
A long, full and tiring season draw to a close, with a celebration held at Toumba Stadium. The youngsters of PAOK FC Youth and Development sections had fun and dazzled in the event held to mark the end of the season.
The season however is not entirely over, as the youth teams will participate in various encounters around Europe. They will also prepare for the upcoming season.
All teams from the U6s to the U13s were invited in the event held at Toumba on Wednesday evening. Free from their tactical worries, they had fun, thoroughly enjoyed the celebration and earned the warm applause of the spectators.
After the younger members of the PAOK family kicked off procedures with friendly games, dexterity games came on the menu. It was an amazing spectacle. The young prodigies did keepie uppies with tennis balls, slalomed through obstacle courses, went up against a shooting wall, had penalty shootouts and tested their accurate passing.
The event concluded with a full-pitch friendly encounter of mixed teams, consisting of U12s and U13s. It was a match full of spectacular plays and goals and saw the “blacks” prevail 4-2. The final result however is of little importance, as all participants were happy to play on the pitch of Toumba and get acclaimed by the spectators.
