Last but one match of the season
With just two days to rest and regroup physically and mentally, PAOK face their last but one “final” of the season. They need to defeat Atromitos on their quest to clinch second place in the play-offs.
Giorgos Georgiadis is once again faced with several and important problems in his effort to field the best possible line-up at Toumba on Wednesday. Stefanos Athanasiadis is still complaining of back pains, but he got through training and will try to help PAOK’s attack.
The same goes for Róbert Mak who is suffering of back pains, reducing his mobility. However both the Greek and the Slovakian players made the squad list and now it’s up to the medical staff to help them get available for the encounter.
Giorgos Tzavellas, Dimitris Konstantinidis and Kyriakos Savvidis, who picked up knocks from the Leoforos game, trained normally and are ready for battle. On the contrary, Panagiotis Glykos, Dimitris Salpingidis and Panagiotis Deligiannidis have been ruled out with injury, along with Sotiris Papagiannopoulos and Εyal Golasa. The latter was given a leave of absence to travel to his homeland for personal reasons.
