PAOK U11s deserving winners of the Invitational Cup
PAOK youth sides continue on their successful path. The U11s won the Invitational Cup, while U15s were fifth in the Rimini Cup.
PAOK U11s stamped their authority from the opening match until the final of the Invitational Cup. The pupils of Apostolos Papavasiliou and Dimitris Taxidis prevailed 5-1 over AIK in the final of the Swedish tournament, their last of large victories on their way to claim the trophy.
PAOK also boast having the final MVP in their ranks. Giorgos Koutsias also was top scorer of the tournament with 19 goals. In total, PAOK netted 40 goals and conceded just four!
On the first day of the tournament, PAOK defeated Hollviken 11-0, then won PPJ Helsinki 10-1 and Djursholm 6-0. On Sunday morning, they prevailed 3-2 over IFK Lidingo FK and dismissed HJK Helsinki 5-0 in the semis. The final proved another walk in the park for them.
PAOK youngsters will next travel to Novorossiysk, Russia, on 24 June, for the qualifying stage of the Lokoball tournament.

PAOK U15s get 5th place in the Rimini Cup
PAOK U15s didn’t qualify for the finals of Rimini Cup. However the troops of Vasilis Mittas and Vasilis Kanaras prevailed 4-1 over Helsingborgs IF in their last match in the tournament for a 5th-place finish. Earlier, they recorded a 2-0 victory over Bavaria Selection, then lost 2-0 to West Ham United FC and played a goalless draw with Borussia Mönchengladbach. They finished third in their group with four points and faced Helsingborgs IF for fifth place.
